HENSON, Megan Myfanwy (née Walker). Passed after a short illness (surrounded by her family), on 19th September, 2026; aged 77 years. Megan is survived by her husband John, children Meredith, and Conrad, sisters Rosemary and Belinda, and two grandchildren. Megan's strength and empathy touched many people through her varied life as a printworker, manager, karate teacher, union leader, genealogy researcher, talented knitter, and community volunteer.

A Memorial Service for Megan will be held at St Peter the Fisherman Anglican Church, 7 Dundas Street, Whitianga on Saturday 26th September at 11am. Correspondence: meganhenson. memorial@gmail.com
