Mavis GILLSTROM

GILLSTROM, Mavis Joyce (nee Whitley). Passed away on Friday 28 August 2026, at the age of 95. Loved wife of the late Fred, beloved Mum and Mother-in-law of Sandra and the late Graham; and Judy. Loved and respected Nana of Wesley and Marcella, Mel, Paul and Cassie; and Jade. Great Grandma of Damian, Angela and Antastasia and GG of Claire and Myles. Mum was also a much loved Aunt, Great Aunt and great-great Aunty Mavis to many. Her hands are now still; no more knitting, crocheting, baking or gardening. Rest well now, Mum. Grateful thanks to Leah and all the amazing team at the Murray Halberg Rest Home, who cared for Mum so well over the past year. Also acknowledging the care and kindness shown by Dr Teo and all the staff at TL Care, Te Atatu South, for over 50 years.
