Marjorie BAILEY

BAILEY, Marjorie Mona. It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marjorie Mona Bailey (nee Hetherington Carruthers), who passed away on July 24, 2026 in Cairns, Queensland, Australia at the age of 90. Mona will be remembered as loving wife to John Bailey (deceased 2015), Mother to Sonia, Marion (deceased 2022), Ross, Andy, Grandmother to 11 amazing grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She lived a remarkable life in Samoa, New Zealand and Australia.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 10, 2026, 11:00am at Cairns Crematorium Funeral Home, Foster Road, Mount Sheridan. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate her life. Mona will be dearly missed. May she rest in peace and remain forever in our hearts knowing that she is now with Dad (John) and Marion (Min).
