Haere, haere, ki tō moenga roa. It is with deep sadness that we convey the peaceful passing of our beloved and cherished Mother, Marama 'Lexi' Wieldraaijer. Devoted wife of Dirk Wieldraaijer. Eldest daughter of Riki 'Dick' Mohi Peters and Turia Reo Weneti Peters (née Maihi). Sister to Richard, Julia 'Fudge', Olive 'Bebs', Ernest 'Ernie' and Taukiri. Cherished Mum of Vivienne, Caroline, Moana, Pani, Natalie, Alison. Beloved Nana of Roland, Tessa, James, Stevie-Jay, Chynna- Rose, Spencer, Ruby- Julia, Arnie, Jack, Daniel and Olivia. Adored Great Nana of Mason, Marley, Izzy, Tyrone, Arya, Nirvana-Reign, Maverick-James, Noah, Psalm, Harvey, Emerald-Rose, Kobe, Raiden and Annabelle. Resting with our dad Dirk, together at last Mum will lie in state at ?rākei Marae from Saturday 27 June, 1pm. Final service taking place on Monday 29 June at 12pm.
