YOUNG, Lola Marion (née Wetherill). Lola died early on Sunday 16 August 2026 with her family around her, age 98. She was the much-loved mother of Alan, Mary and John and a wonderful mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother. Lola was an independent, community-minded sportswoman and administrator. She was a fine example to all of us, and will be forever in our hearts. Our thanks to the lovely staff who have cared so well for Lola at Avondale Lifecare.

A service will be held at The Ship, 55 West End Road, Westmere on Friday 21August 2026 at 2.30pm
