LYSEN, Liesbeth Margaretha. Passed away peacefully on Sunday 21 June 2026 after a lifetime of illness, at the age of 79 years. While we grieve our loss, we find comfort knowing she is finally at peace and with her mother Willy. Much loved cousin of Peter Breurkes and his family. Loved and cared for by the staff at Lexis Care, Avondale, whom we thank for their kindness. Daughter of Willy Butler (nee Breurkes) and Gerrit Lysen (both deceased), sister of Wilhemina.

A private cremation has been held, while a memorial service will be at the internment of ashes in Christchurch later in the year, where she will be laid to rest with her mother. Any communications to Peter Breurkes at katiepluspete@gmail.com 'Altijd in ins hart'
