HARRIS, Les. The last chequered flag. Les Harris crossed his final finish line and played his last tune on Friday the 14th of August 2026 at 101 years old. Beloved husband to the late Mary Throll. Poppy to 12 grandchildren and great poppy to 6 great grandchildren. Much loved brother and brother in law to Chris and June and the late Alistair and Betty. Much loved Father to Rod, Cherry, Lindsay, Wendy, Tim and the late Syd. The Guinness world record holder for the Worlds Oldest Competitive Motorcycle racer will always be remembered for his gentlemanly and charismatic style with that twinkle in his eye at his various music clubs and motor sporting adventures. Keep on tinkering Les and enjoy your endless blats. Chin chin old boy, you will be dearly missed.
