Laurene WATKIN

WATKIN, Laurene Elizabeth. 9 May 1950 - 19 September 2026. Laurene has left us too soon. Her love of fun and of people, her charm, and her welcome to all whom she met will be much missed. Laurene was the much loved daughter of Betty and Lawrence Watkin, younger sister of David and Ray, and sister-in-law to Ann and Wendy, aunty to Jayson, Aaron, Cameron and Kelly, and Nana to their children Naydene, Cheyenne, Liam and Evan. Laurene was very much loved by her partner Garry Glasgow, her son Ben Glasgow and by Ruby and their daughter Billie Glasgow in Sydney. Loved also by Garry's daughter Melinda and partner Mike and their children Keir and Olivia.

A private cremation has been held for Laurene. A gathering to celebrate Laurene's life will be held in the Logan Lounge at the Ponsonby Cruising Club, Westhaven on Tuesday 29 September between 11am and 2pm.
