O'SULLIVAN, Kevin George QSM. On Thursday 10th September 2026, Kevin, the most loved husband of Diane, family to Tony, Peter and Sheridan, Noel, Bronwen, Ceara and Vienna, Helen, Rachael and Paul, Josh and Francesca, brother to Josephine and the late John, was taken from us for a better place. A respected and highly valued member of the communities of Coastguard, the New Zealand Fire Service and Spirit of Adventure Trust among others. Kevin's legacy lives on in his family, 'Nowcasting' and many other enhancements to safety at sea in the Hauraki Gulf he loved so much.

A celebration of Kevin's life will be held in St Bernadette's Church Mt Wellington at 11am Thursday 17th September, and afterward at St John's Lounge Purewa Cemetery.
