Ireland, John Sands. Ireland, John Sands. Passed away peacefully on Friday 4th September 2026 aged 89 years. A man whose smile filled every room! Very loving husband to Gay, married 63 wonderful years. Awesome Dad to Saul, Donna, Paula, Louize, Jo, Maree. Much loved father-in-law to Philip, Nikki, Glenn, Gavin, Murray. Grandad to 11 and Great grandad to 13. "May heaven be your next stop." Thanks a million to the amazing team at the Tauranga Hospital and Hodgson House. A Requiem Mass will be held on Thursday 17th September, at 10.30am at St Therese, 217 Bethlehem Rd, Bethlehem.
