Grigg, John Edward. Passed peacefully on 31st July 2026, surrounded by family after a long illness; aged 77 years. Dearly loved and cherished husband of Linda. Much loved father of Rachel, Jonathan, and Andrew. Father-in-law of Tim, Michelle, and Michelle. Much loved sister of Lin Workman and brother-in-law of Graham Workman and Ralph Lawton. Treasured Papa of Faye, Katie, Kayla, Alicia, Samuel, Danielle, Brookie and Joshua.

The funeral service for John will be held on Wednesday 12th August at lpm at Life Church (Central), 25 Normanby Road, Mount Eden. Grateful thanks to Doctors and Mercy Hospice for their care.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Mercy Hospice is appreciated. Always loved, always remembered. God is our refuge and strength.
