BLANKENBYL, Johanna (nee Baggerman). Passed away peacefully on Wednesday 8th July 2026 aged 96, in the company of loved ones at Summerset St Johns. Beloved wife of the late Leo Herman Blankenbyl. Much Loved mother, and mother in-law of Eric and Julie, Victor and Kathy, Danny and Laverne, and Geoff and Claire. Grandmother of Russell, Lawrence, Aaron, Jessica, Michi, James, Christopher, Eugene, Joshua, Rebecca, Ben, and Rachel and their partners. Much loved Great Grandmother of 11. A Special thank you to the caring staff at Summerset, St Johns for their wonderful compassion, comfort, understanding, and support.

A service to celebrate Johanna's life will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel, 400 Dominion Road, Mount Eden, on Saturday 18th July at 10am. All welcome.
