Freeman, Joan Miriam (Nee Bentley). On Wednesday August 19th, 2026, Joan Miriam Freeman passed away peacefully at West Harbour Gardens Residential Care. She was in her 94th year. Now in the arms of her beloved Savior, Jesus. "The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing…Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever." ( Psalm 23: 1, 6) Cherished and adored wife of Owen (now deceased) for 66 years. Deeply loved Mother of Dale, Tracey and Michelle; Mother-in-law of Frank and Paul. Beloved Grandmother of Stephen, Michael, David and Anthony.

A celebration of Joan's life will be held at Massey Presbyterian Church, 510 Don Buck Road, Massey at 1pm on Friday 28th August.
