Jeanette THOMAS

THOMAS, Jeanette (nee Roose). Passed away peacefully at 92 years 26 May 1934 - 17 September 2026 Dearly loved only child of Caesar Roose and wife of Bill Thomas both deceased. Mother, bussinesswoman, leader, defender of the lower Waikato. The mighty Oak has fallen. She will be sadly missed by her family Esther, Kathryn and Stu, Helen, Bridgette, Jen and Wayne, Ash and Anya and the grandchildren Hayden (and Rosy), Tamsin, Anita, Oli, Sophie (and Marcus), Blair (and Lizza), Tim (and Casey), Brya (and Orrin), Ridgley (and Camila), Ainslie, Sacha, Mya, and great grandchildren Asher, Reggie, Emmy, Avalon, and Alejandra. An intelligent, progressive, determined woman whose legacy will continue to benefit future generations.

A celebration of the life of Jeanette will be held on Monday 12 October at 1pm at The Mercer Rowing Club. Thank you to Logan Campbell for their care of Jeanette.
