ASHTON, James (Jim) Stewart (Ruru). Peacefully on 18 August 2026, aged 93 years. Much loved big brother of Adele and Elaine, "Uncle Jim" to Anna, Hamish, Jonathan, Pierre and their families, and respected Scout Master to many. A man of few words who left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

A service will be held at Rangiura Care Home, 17 Matai Crescent, Putāruru on Friday 21 August at 2.30pm.
