A'BEAR, James (Jim) Edgar. With deep sadness we advise the peaceful passing of Jim A'Bear on 23rd July 2026, aged 94 years, 11 months. Beloved husband of Frances A'Bear (nee Moffitt), loved father of Joyce, Heather and Wendy, cherished grandfather and great grandfather. He was a father figure to an extended family and a respected member of the community.

A service to celebrate Jim's life will be held at 1pm Monday 10th August at the Waihi Baptist Church. He will be very much missed.
