MURRAY, Garrett (Garry) Peter. Born 5 September 1935 - Died 25 June 2026 Dearly loved husband for 64 years of Fleur Murray (née Litherland). Much loved son of the late Molly and Kenneth Murray. Loved older brother of Graeme (Brenda) and Christine (Eric). Beloved father and father-in-law of Amanda (Geoff), Fiona (Antony), and Alastair (Laura). Dearly loved Pop of Samantha, Mitchell and Lachlan, Willa, and Athena, and Great Pop of Vance and Reegan. Also Pop to Olivia, Liam and Ethan. Loved uncle of Andrew, Carl and Joanne, Leanne and Hannah. A wonderful husband, father, and true gentleman. Proud Dux of Cambridge Primary School, honoured Rotarian and Paul Harris Fellow, founding teacher of St Kentigern's School, and tennis champion of Takapuna Tennis Club and lifelong golfer. Now reunited with so many dear friends and wider family. He will be forever missed. Until we meet again Dad xxx.

A memorial service followed by interment will be held at North Shore Memorial Park Cemetery, 235 Schnapper Rock Road, Schnapper Rock, Auckland 0632, at 1.00 pm on Tuesday, 30 June.
