MURPHY, Eugene Bryan (Brian). Died peacefully on 20 July 2026 aged 91. Much loved son of the late Eugene and Tasma Murphy (nee Lyons), treasured big brother and brother-in-law of Patricia and Peter Cowley and adored uncle of Peter and Christina, Sue, Anne and Cecil. A man of unwavering faith, kindness and quiet determination who touched many lives and will be deeply missed. A staff member for over 63 years at Mt Albert Grammar School. Requiem Mass will be Celebrated at St Patrick's Cathedral, 43 Wyndham Street, Auckland CBD on Wednesday 29 July at 10.00am. Followed by a private family burial.
