MCCARRISON, Dorothy Bell (née Taylor) MNZM. Peacefully passed Saturday 1 August 2026 aged 89. Dorothy was born in Eltham, Taranaki on 12 January 1937. The eldest daughter of Frederick (Fred) John Taylor MBE and Amy (Bell) Cross. Dearest sister of Faye Fleming and Keitha Booth. Deeply loved wife for over 66 years of the late Ian Henry McCarrison. A remarkable and loving mother of Graeme, Kathryn, Andrew and Dianne. Mother-in-law of Catherine Harland, Vince Galvin and John Ingham. Treasured nana of Amy, Issey, Otto and Alexandrina.

A service to celebrate Dorothy's life will be held at St Luke's Presbyterian Church, 130 Remuera Road, Remuera, on Thursday 6 August at 10.30am. Live stream via https://tinyurl.com/y5w7ha34
