ADAMS, Donald Bertrand (Don). 29 August 1930 - 13 July 2026 Passed away peacefully on 13 July 2026, aged 95, with his children by his side. Youngest son of Robert and Hilda, and brother to John, Mary, Cliff and Bob. Loved husband of the late Glenese Jean Adams (née Peterson). Beloved father and father-in-law of Rachael and Paul, Sarah and Chris, and Christopher and Brigid. Treasured grandfather to Katie and Rosie, Jeremy and Megan, Tom and William, and great-grandfather to Olive and Theo. Don will be remembered for his steadfast love of family, his quiet strength, kindness, and the enduring values by which he lived. The family extends its heartfelt thanks to everyone who has provided friendship, and cared for and supported Don. In accordance with Don's wishes, a private family cremation has been held. There will be a celebration of his life next Waitangi weekend in Taupō when will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife.
