McLEAN, Derek (Uncle Della). It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Della (Derek) McLean on Wednesday 19th August 2026 at the age of 79. A loving brother to Diane and Ian, brother in law to Tony, and a wonderful uncle to Abigail, Saul and great uncle to Adam, Annabelle, Caroline, Nichola, Matthew, Harry, Vicky, Robert and Luke.

A private cremation was held on Monday 24 September 2026. Family and friends are invited to join us to celebrate Derek's life at the Arvida Peninsula Club, 441 Whangaparaoa Rd, Stanmore Bay, for a memorial service on Monday 14th September 2026 at 2pm.
