David JENKINS

JENKINS, David Rhys. Passed away at Waitākere Hospital at 12:30pm on 16 July, aged 71, after a two-year battle with cancer. Much loved husband and friend of Glenda. Cherished father of Katie and Alice, respected father-in-law of Paul and Tom, and proud Baba of Ava, Emelia and Matilda. Son of the late Lloyd and Pat Jenkins, and brother of Chris. David was a man of great intellect and wit, with a lifelong passion for music, science and, above all, his family. A thoughtful listener and trusted adviser, he had a rare ability to understand every perspective and guide others through even the most difficult challenges.
