EVANS, Carolyn Mary (nee Broad). On 10 September 2026, Carolyn, aged 86, gently passed away at Auckland Hospital following a short courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife and sweetheart of the late Russell Evans (Ga). Much loved and deeply missed mother and mother-in-law of Craig and Didee, and Donna and John. Treasured Nanny of Katie, Louis, Jack, Emma and Lucy. Dearly loved sister of Jasmine and the late Barry and Noel. Sister in law of Pam and her nieces and nephews. Carolyn often reminded us that she lived a truly blessed life, facing her final journey with remarkable courage and grace. Our heartfelt thanks go to the wonderful staff on Ward 64, Auckland Hospital for their compassion, care and support they provided during Carolyn's final days.

A celebration of a life well lived and Memorial Service will be held at Purewa Cemetery on September 16th at 2pm.
