HURD, Bruce Edward. Software Developer and Elder at Kaukapakapa Bible Chapel in NorthWest rural Auckland. Beloved husband of Leslie Louise Hurd, father of Eli Edward Sherlock Hurd and Lily Louise Hurd. Died of appendix cancer after three months of treatment in Mumbai, India - age 50 years. Son of Edna Doreen Hurd, brother to Elizabeth Williamson and Monique Schipper. His family would like to thank all of the friends who have supported throughout his 4 month illness. Bruce was sad to have to leave us all, but looked forward to an eternity with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

A funeral to celebrate Bruce's life will be held at Northcross Church, Albany, Auckland at 1pm on Thursday 20 August, followed by fellowship.
