RITCHIE, Brian John. It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Brian John Ritchie, who passed away peacefully at the age of 80 on Wednesday, 12 August 2026. Dearly loved husband of Faye, and devoted father to Tracy, Melissa, Duncan and Scott. Proud Grandad and Great- Grandad whose love, wisdom, and quiet strength will continue to live on through his family. His absence leaves a space that can never be filled, but his love and legacy will remain in our hearts forever. Brian will be resting at home in an open casket on Thursday and Friday, and family and friends are warmly welcome to visit and say goodbye.

A service to celebrate Brian's life will be held at his home, 2 Strathaven Way, Te Puke, on Saturday, 15 August at 11am. Family and friends are warmly invited to join us as we honour and remember a truly special man.
