PLAYLE, Brian David. Passed away suddenly, after a long illness, on the 28th of September 2026, aged 95. Loved husband of Beverly, and father and father in law of Michael, Chris and Jo, Jane and Dean, Adriane and Dave, Brett and Heather, and Sue and Marty. Grandfather of Tom, Lucy, Lauren and James, Mallory and Danny, Jason, Sara, Cameron, Rhiannon and Mason, Sean and Sophie, Liam and Kelcie, and Raphael and Dashiel. Great grandfather of Lulu, Adeline, Rory and Marnie, Lakelin, and Grace and Stella. Private cremation Friday 2nd October 2026, 3pm at State of Grace Funerals.

Memorial service is to be held at a later date, to be advised.

Donations to Diabetes New Zealand in lieu of flowers.
