CARTER, Brecon MNZM. Concertmaster Emeritus Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra 23 December 1941 - 24 August 2026 Passed away peacefully in the presence of his family. Beloved husband of Jessica, dearly loved father of Zoë, Rowan, Sean and Mia, stepfather to Asha and Alex, and Poppa Brec to his 12 grandchildren. He will be remembered for a lifetime of service to God, to music, to his family and community. He was a man of gentle kindness and infinite patience, qualities that made him a cherished violin teacher, a passionate golfer, and a formidable opponent to the rainbow trout of the Tauranga-Taupō river.
