McCONNELL, Beverley May. Passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, 30 September, surrounded by family, aged 95. She not only experienced life, but truly lived it. It was a privilege to have been loved by her. Beloved wife of the late Malcolm McConnell, mother to Nancy, Jacqueline, John, Kate and David, 'Granny Bev' to all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and friend to so many. She was incredibly grateful for the wonderful Ayrlies team who worked alongside her in the garden and at home, and the St Thomas' church community. She lived with an open heart, embraced each moment, and brought light to those around her. We thank God for the blessing of her life, the love she shared, the creation of Ayrlies Garden, and the beautiful memories she leaves behind. May she rest in Aroha, reunited with her darling man.

A celebration of Bev's life will be held at All Saints Church; 17 Selwyn Road, Howick on Wednesday the 7th of October at 11am.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Friends of the Botanic Gardens or the Anglican Trust for women and children foundation are appreciated.

The service will be livestreamed www.sibuns.co. nz
