Audrey HELSBY

HELSBY, Audrey Elizabeth (nee Wooster). Passed away peacefully at 95 years old at Kawakawa Hospital on 11 August 2026.

Now at peace and reunited with her late husband Laurie. Audrey will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. She was a loving and constant presence in many lives with a quirky mixture of warmth and wit. She was quietly competitive in everything she did whether it was golf, Mahjong, or the various puzzles that kept her busy over the latter years. Audrey was the beloved sister and sister-in-law of John and Marion, Nancy and John (deceased), and Thora (deceased) and Wattie (deceased). Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Grant and Fleur, Raewyn and Graeme, and Gail. The coolest, kindest and iPad savvy grandmother of Lara, Patrick, Henry, Oliver, Tessa, George, Abbey and Tom and much loved great-grandmother of Hudson, Hadleigh, Harvey, Gigi, Harley, and Indy.

Forever in our hearts and memories, whenever we play Wordle, we'll be thinking of you. In accordance with Audrey's wishes, we won't be holding an official funeral but any friends and family are welcome to drop in to 17 Hall Road to pay their respects.
