THOMAS, Anne Josephine (Diane) (née Counsell). Beloved wife of the late Bob, and forever loved mother of Jenny, Katy (USA), Richard (Melbourne) and Stephanie (Sydney). A proud grandmother of Mathew, Georgia, Nelson, Yanni, Tilly and Theo, and great-grandmother of Wolfe and Scottie. Loved mother-in-law to Clem, Chris, Cassandra, George and Grandmother-in-law to Terry and Ana Darielle. Diane passed away peacefully in her sleep on 3 October 2026, aged 92. She lived a wonderfully full life, rich with travel, family, friends and, above all, endless chatter. Diane had a gift for making connections and bringing warmth and conversation wherever she went. Her family would like to thank all the friends and family who included Diane in their lives and celebrations, welcomed her into their homes, and made time to visit her at Keith Park Retirement Village. Your kindness companionship and friendship made her days brighter and meant so much to her. A very special thank-you to the kind and caring staff from Keith Park Retirement Village who went above and beyond looking after Diane during the last chapter of her life . Diane's wish was to be cremated and laid to rest alongside Bob. The family will honour this wish when they are able to be together in New Zealand. We will always look to the stars Grandma Di XXXX
