Den Tandt, Andrea Mary (Nee Whittington). Born 22 March 1947, in Lower Hutt. Passed away peacefully on 17 July 2026, aged 79, surrounded by family. Dearly loved wife of Joe, much loved mother of Chris (Sophie), Melanie (Daniel) and grandmother to Ethan. Sister to Diana (Lester), Helen (Hugh) and Richard (Lois). Preceded in death by her parents, Horace James Coates and Eleanor Josephine (nee Barron). Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Marks Catholic Church, 334 Pakuranga Road on Monday, 27 July at 11:00am. Friends and family are welcome to pay their respects at a public viewing at Davis Funeral Services, 2A Udys Road, Pakuranga on Friday 24 July from 9:00am - 4:00pm, and Saturday, 25 July from 4:30pm - 6:30pm. Floral tributes may be sent directly to Davis Funerals, 400 Dominion Road, Mount Eden. Special thanks to the staff at Middlemore Hospital ICU who cared for Andrea in her final days.
