SOLIA, Ana Hirovana'a Makalio. Hey Ma Well another year has come and gone and it has been hectic. I went to Oz last Xmas and spent it with Steph and Rosey, Allouma and Michael and Joyita and Steve and the rest of the Lewis family.I met both Ana's beau and Fitihau was home from Hawaii with his fiancee Rhi. After Xmas I went up to Brisbane and spent New Year's with Sisi, Ian and Mon. It was nice and relaxing but by the end of it I was glad to come home. Allouma came up with me and she also was glad to get away from Michael for a bit. Fast forward and I didn't get the chance to go to Melbourne this year for Markie's bday cos he was busy with his disc golf thingy and I wasn't going to tag along. Both Markie and Charlie are champions in Victoria. Not bad for my palagi babies. Ross tured 50 this year and I now have two half centurions. Makes me feel really oooold Ma. Susan turns 49 in 2027 and Kevin will be 53. Your babies are not babies anymore. Eugene's only son died this year and Uncle Sele also passed away. Aunty Silia is doing OK. Mali goes over to check on her most days and so does Joey. Fatu hasn't been well with his heart problems and hip replacements.Sole the family are falling apart. Susan and her family are going to Raro next month for one of Richie's nieces' 21st. Miller is at uni doing a Bcom and Annabel is Year12. Went to New Plymouth and spent a week with Noni, Derg and Sofia, came home threw my dirty stuff in wash, repacked my suitcase and went to Wellington to see Dani and Sean. Air NZ made a lot of money from me with my gallivanting around. Dani had her last chemo session the Friday I was there and so far, cross fingers, things seem to be all right. I chat with her as often as I can when I remember to ring her. She's still working from home. They are going to China, meeting up with Aleti early September, in Shanghai. She's been cleared to travel cos it's a long way to China. Sisi, Ian and Mon are coming here day after Dani leaves, for a month. They want to tiki tour around Nth Island and will still be here when Dani comes back so will also end up in Wellington. Leilani has been accepted into Police Force and goes to Police training in Porirua about that time also. Having a going away dinner for her this Sunday and she wants poke as well as a roast with everything. She reckons it could be only decent meal she'll have until she comes home. Please keep an eye on her Ma. She's really excited to go. I took Makaela to Melbourne with me for Ross' 50th and Sam fell in love with her.. Ross has a dog and the dog also fell in love with Kaela but Kaela's allergic to dogs.We went to the Casino for dinner and that was OK except for the truffel thingies. If I had wanted to eat dirt Ma, I wouldn't have paid for it. My kitchen sprung a leak last week. The bl...y rats got into ceiling and chewed the water pipe. Talk about fun and games and was also one way of washing my floor. Lucky I didn't have carpet. Well Ma, it's time to sign off now. I'm running out of space and like everything else I've left this till the last minute. I miss you so much Ma especially now I'm on my own. I'm invisible to my kids and that's a bitchy comment but it makes me feel better. I'll catch up with you again next time. Love you big time Ma. Your lonely big girl. Tofa.
