Amelia MEADE

MEADE, Amelia Rose. Died aged 23 years on 6 September 2026 after a long illness. Precious and adored daughter of Richard Meade and Sara Meade (nee Crompton). Beloved sister of Oliver and Maxwell Meade, and much loved cousin of Vincent, Asher and Christian Meade, Ryan and Joseph Holt, and Lilian Hordern. Cherished niece of Chris Meade and Onawe Burgess- Meade, Viv and Andrew Holt, and Helen Crompton and Miles Hordern. Treasured granddaughter of Valerie and Dennis Crompton (deceased), Alison Higgs, and Lionel Meade. Brave and beautiful, intelligent and creative, a force of nature, loved by so many in both France and New Zealand. A heartbreaking loss to us all, but suffering no more, alive forever in our hearts, and free now to soar.

A service to remember Amelia will be held in the All Saints Chapel, Purewa Crematorium, 100 St Johns Road, Meadowbank on Saturday, 12 September 2026 at 10 a. m.
